Do I still need an ISP if I get broadband?

Answered By Brayden Eckles, Editor

Yes of course. Since broadband internet accesses have different types, ISP is not needed anymore in cable services. Technically, cable companies have their group of computers commonly referred as a "server farm" that handles all the connection between the provider and the subscriber. If a user is connected by way of DSL or IDSN, ISP is needed. In choosing an ISP, there is a long list of companies that give guaranteed services that will suit your need.
